I am a latetwentysomething-earlythirtysomething male who decided to not only vent his rants at his co-workers and friends but to the general community at large. I tend to work nights, live in DC and rant hence the name. I am also a Rolling Stones fan. My politics tend to rightwing, but I am not a Republican and haven't been for many years. The topics covered include politics, religion, sex, sociology, history, science, current affairs and anything else that catches my attention. These rants cover the globally poitically to the deeply personal philosopical. I don't use this LJ for drama (hell, I barely even use the word "I" in my writing), but occasionally my personal views that are backed by nothing but my own history will come up. Basically, I'm Bill O'Reilly with a brain or Michael Moore with a mind (pick whichver one offends you more). Sources are used whenever possible, but sometimes, eyewitness accounts are handy. I hold very little back in these, and that's when I'm being polite. Adult language and themes are common. Read these rants at your risk! I love notes, so leave many. There is no real set schedule for these, but I try for daily now that my life has settled down a little. I take Friday nights/Saturday mornings off and there are weekly friends only rants. Sometimes these are better, sometimes these are worse than the usual fare. If you want to be friended, tell me why and prove you're cool for it. (ooooh, aren't I just the elitist). This is not for making me feel better, but the Friends-lcoked stuff requires a cooler than average mind.
